The WIAA - Castrol Institute of Motoring
WIAA in collaboration with Ahmedabad Education Society and Castrol India Ltd. has set-up the WIAA-Castrol Institute of Motoring at Ahmedabad. The Institute's main objective is "Human Safety on Roads". Their service include in-depth education and training to different classes of road and vehicle users, and incorporates a range of technical services to ensure safety and economy in handling of a vehicle. A provision has also been made to undertake research activities to promote safety.
The Institution is being constructed on a plot measuring 5000 sq. metres, and will have an auditorium/conference hall, a motoring library, several lecture rooms, a drivers' physical fitness cell as well as an auto-machinery and product display hall. The WIAA-Castrol Institute of Motoring will be developed in a phased manner and will be the first of its kind in the world.
