Membership
of the Association is open to all persons, firms, institutions,
etc in respect of motor cars and two wheelers owned or used
by them and commercial vehicles with Private Carrier Permits.
Membership is NOT TRANSFERABLE from a member to another
person or from an individual member to a company or vice versa.
COMMERCIAL MEMBERSHIP
This class is for members, whether individuals or companies,
owning Private Carriers with Permits issued by the R.T.O. Bombay.
In addition to all sevices given to car owners, assistance is
also given in the payment of taxes, renewal of Certificates
of Fitness etc.
Individual
Membership is personal to the individual concerned. However,
the Association's personal services are also extended to the
member's spouse, unmarried daughters and sons upto the age of
21 provided they reside at the same address. Vehicles belonging
to the member's spouse can be registered for service. Sons and
daughters of members having their own vehicles must join as
separate members.
Company Member
The Association's services are available to the users whose
names alongwith their respective car numbers are registered
with the Association. A user's spouse, unmarried daughters and
sons upto the age of 21 residing with him are also entitled
to the service of the Association.
