The
Western India Automobile Association has been in the leading automobile
institution of India for almost 80 years. The Association's Motoring
Magazine was first published in 1927, and within five years was the
most popular monthly magazine in India, giving interesting information
on motoring - both in the country and over the continent.
These early issues of the "magazine" are a treasure of interesting and
nostalgic extracts of the "motoring landscape of India" at that time.
