Bajaj Auto - "Unveils largest-ever range at Auto
Expo 2000"
Bajaj Auto Limited, the fourth largest manufacturer of two-wheelers
in the world, has embarked on its most ambitious mission
in the new millennium. In the next 2 years, the company
has taken up a massive program to offer consumers the best
of global styling and technology. Christened "Planet
Bajaj", which is also the theme of the exhibition
at the Auto Expo 2000, the effort marks Bajaj Auto's resolve
to offer products which enjoy global technological superiority.
"Planet Bajaj" showcases this endeavor with the unveiling
of bikes such as the  Kawasaki
Bajaj Anhelo and the Eliminator. Bajaj Auto has
also tied up with Cagiva of Italy and Tokyo R&D of
Japan to offer consumers the very best in world-class styling
and technology. The results of the alliance can be seen
in the 4 stroke scooter the Saffire, the new Pulsar
street-sport bike and the trendsetting Cagiva CRX.
 At
the Auto Expo 2000, Bajaj Auto Limited will display its
offerings which are recently introduced or are being  introduced
in the near future. This is the first time that any company
is unveiling so many new models in each segment of two-wheelers
- motorcycles, scooters, scooterettes and step-through bikes.
Through this amazing line-up, Bajaj Auto Limited plans to
cement its position as the most versatile and largest two-wheeler
manufacturer in the country with a vehicle for every member
of the family at every price point.
Scooters
 In
the Scooter segment, Bajaj Auto has lined up three new offerings:
Chetak 4-Stroke, Fusion and CRX besides
of course the just introduced Saffire.
Motorcycles
Bajaj
Auto is also displaying the widest range of motorcycles
to power its way through this fast growing segment. The
range commences with the great value Boxer and ends
with the awesome Eliminator and flamboyant Anhelo.
Scooterettes
 In
the scooterette category, on display is the incredibly attractive
Bajaj Spirit that continues to show month by month growth
in volumes and market share. Bajaj Spirit also has
the distinction of recently winning two awards from "Overdrive"
Magazine - one as the on display is the New Sunny Spice.
3-Wheelers
 Bajaj
is reinventing the entire 3-wheeler range to offer superior
performance and economy combined with low emissions. On
display are the Pickup Van with a 175 cc, 4-stroke engine
and the 4-stroke RE autoricksha with alternative fuel (CNG)
for ultra low vehicular emissions.
As part of
the company's commitment towards a cleaner, greener world,
all products of the company will conform to Year 2000 emission
morms well ahead of its schedule.
 With
this new breed of riding machines, Bajaj promises to meet
