The joint venture defence company of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and BAE Systems will be known as Defence Land Systems India. Mr Deepak Chhibba and Mr Arne Berglund will be Defence Land Systems India's CEO and Deputy CEO respectively. Mr Deepak Chhibba was earlier Executive Vice-President International Operations Mahindra & Mahindra, said a release from the company. Defence Land Systems India will be headquartered in New Delhi and will have a manufacturingfacility south of Faridabad. The company is working on the axe high mobility vehicle as well as up-armoured and bulletproof Scorpios, Boleros, Rakshak, Rapid Intervention Vehicles and the Marksman light armoured vehicle.
