The Western India Automobile Association (WIAA)

The Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) is the leading "automobile -consumer" association in India. A non-profit organization, it was established to represent the voice of vehicle owners, and provide varied services to them from a single location.

The WIAA is headquartered in Mumbai, and covers the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Goa.

The services of the association are extended to all persons, firms and institutions in respect of motor-cars and two-wheelers owned or used by them, as well as commercial vehicles with Carrier Permits.

The Services Provided by the Association to members include:

  • Issue of International Driving Permits (IDP)
  • Breakdown and Towing Services
  • Spot issue of Overseas Mediclaim Policy
  • Renewal of Motor Vehicle Insurance
  • Clearing cars from docks and advice regarding custom formalities
  • Care-taking of cars when owners go out of station
  • Assistance while touring abroad
  • Issue of Learners Licence at WIAA
  • Valuation of second-hand vehicles
  • Payment of fines for traffic offences
  • Car Rental services in association with Wheels-Rent-A-Car(Hertz)
