1955 Chevrolet V-8
The
1955 Chevrolet was claimed by the company to be a "red
hot hill-flattener". The normal V-8 engine gave an
out-put of 162 bhp. A "Super Turbo-Fire" Power Pack
version gave 180 bhp, while the V-8 with a special
power kit gave an output of 195 bhp.
The Chevy could achieve a top speed of 98-115 mph, and
acceleration from 0-60 in 11.4 seconds.
It was not without reason that the car was dubbed as "The
Hot One"
