The Maruti Omni 8 Seater is sold only to Companies and to taxi operaters - with Tourist Permit. The car cannot be purchased in individual name.

The Maruti Omni is the spacious "all-occasion" car that can accommodate family and friends on a picnic with the same ease with which it manoeuvers into a small parking space.

The Omni is powered by 4-stroke, water-cooled, 3-cylinder, 796-cc engine, which gives you a maximum power of 37 bHP @ 5000 rpm and a maximum torque of 6.32 kgm @ 3000 rpm.

The suspensions are McPherson strut (front) and leaf spring with shock absorbers (rear). The brakes are "drum" both in the front as well as rear.

Safety Features

The entire width of the Omni is covered by a protective reinforced bar for greater protection to occupants.
