The
Fiat Uno - The small car with big heart
The Fiat Uno
comes from the (worldwide) Fiat Group, which has manufacturing
locations in 60 countries. Winner of the European Car of the
Year Award, 800,000 units of the Uno diesel have been already
sold around the world. The new UNO is a great city car with
a refined AC system that operates silently and does not hamper
the engines power. The cars in gear acceleration is phenomenal
and even beats cars much bigger in size.
The UNO has a new carburrettor and a modified
camshaft, which make the 999cc engine more efficient. The new
Mikuni double barrel carburretor lets the car breathe,
thus improves performance and economy.
Another outstanding feature of the Uno Diesel is its generous
boot-space. The car has a trunk capacity of 270 litres
that can comfortably fit 5-6 normal sized suitcases.
Brakes are disc (front) and drum (rear). Suspensions are independent
McPherson strut with track control arms connected to the cross
member, and anti-roll torsion bar in the front. Rear suspension
is torsional axle with longitudinal tubular arm and connecting
cross member.
