The New Opel Astra - diesel car from Opel has a 1.7 litre Turbo Intercooled Diesel engine. It is the most powerful, yet the most silent performer in its class.The advanced automotive technology of the turbocharger essentially increases the power output of an engine. The Intercooler, as the one on the Astra 1.7TD, supplements the functioning of the turbochargers. It caters to the requirements of high performance turbo engines by providing the air-fuel mixtures at optimal temperatures to enhance power delivery.

Every inch of the new Astra's interiors cocoons you in comfort and convenience of the highest order. Orthopaedic seats with head rests ensure that you arrive in comfort - even after long journeys. Individually collapsible rear seats have a 60:40 split for increased leg and luggage space.
