Esteem AX (Euro II) Features |

 The Maruti
Esteem AX is the automatic transmission model of the Esteem
in the Maruti stable. The car has additional features like automatic
transmission, power steering, power windows and stereo.
The AX, like the entire Esteem family, is powered by a 1.3 litre,
4-stroke, all-aluminum water-cooled SOHC engine.
The transmission is 3 Speed automatic with planetary gear. The suspensions
are McPherson strut and coil spring both in the front and the rear.
Brakes are booster assisted dual circuit - ventilated disc (in the
front) and drum.(in the rear)
